About this free QR generator

QR Free is a standalone static web application. Its purpose is to make reliable QR-code generation accessible without requiring accounts, subscriptions or disclosure of personal information.

Core operating principle: QR content is processed in the visitor’s browser. The application does not send entered information to an API or save generated codes in a database.

What it can generate

The application supports websites, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, vCards, WhatsApp links, emails, phone calls, SMS messages and geographic locations. Users can customise colours, module shape, size, margin and error correction, then download PNG or SVG files.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not require user registration.
It does not create profiles or generation histories.
It does not use a database or paid QR API.
It does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics.
It does not promise that a third-party destination will remain online.

Static and hosted QR content

A QR code may encode the final information directly, such as a vCard or Wi-Fi password. It may also encode a permanent URL under the site owner’s control. Updating content at that URL allows the scanned experience to change without changing the printed QR pattern.
