Frequently asked questions
Are these QR codes permanently free?
Yes. Static QR codes do not expire. The encoded content remains readable as long as the image remains clear and the destination itself still exists.
Does the website save my QR codes or contact details?
No. The application has no database or storage endpoint. It also deliberately avoids cookies, analytics and browser storage.
Can a QR code display a designed business card?
Yes. Host the business-card image or a mobile-friendly card page at a permanent public URL, then generate a Website QR code for that URL. A sample card page is included in this project.
Can I change a printed QR code later?
The pattern itself cannot be changed. However, when it points to a URL you control, you can update the content available at that unchanged URL.
Why should I test a styled QR code?
Very low colour contrast, an oversized logo, damage or insufficient white margin can reduce readability. Test final downloaded files before mass printing.
